[News] National Instruments and NUBICOM Hold Software Donation Ceremony at Hanyang University

On September 29, 2025, a ceremony celebrating the in-kind donation of software by National Instruments (NI) and Nubicom Co., Ltd. was held in a conference room on the second floor of the Sinbon Building at Hanyang University. The event was attended by Koo-Hwan Jung, Country Manager of NI Korea; Dong-Man Shin, CEO of Nubicom Co., Ltd.; Ki-Jeong Lee, President of Hanyang University; Min-Soo Kim, Vice President of Hanyang University; and Sun-Woo Kim, Director of the Beyond-G Global Innovation Center, along with other distinguished guests. In his welcoming remarks, President Ki-Jeong Lee expressed his sincere appreciation, stating, “NI and Nubicom have given us a truly meaningful gift. I believe this software will provide Hanyang University students with opportunities to dream bigger and move toward a brighter future.”

In response, Koo-Hwan Jung (Country Manager of NI Korea), said, “First, I would like to express my gratitude to Ki-Jeong Lee (President of Hanyang University), Sun-Woo Kim (Director, Beyond-G Global Innovation Center), other university officials, and Dong-Man Shin (CEO, Nubicom Co., Ltd.) I understand that Hanyang University is home to many outstanding researchers, and I sincerely hope that NI’s software will be of help in advancing research across various fields through this donation.”

Through this contribution, NI and Nubicom Co., Ltd. donated software valued at approximately KRW 500 million to the Beyond-G Global Innovation Center at Hanyang University. The donated software will be utilized for educational training, hands-on practice, and research and development activities.

[센터소식] National Instruments사,(주)누비콤 5억원 규모의 SW 현물 기증 전달식 및 명예의 전당 현판식 개최

2025년 9월29일 신본관 2층에 위치한 회의실에서 정구환 NI 한국지사장, 신동만 ㈜누비콤 대표, 이기정 한양 대학교 총장, 김민수 부총장, 김선우 Beyond-G 글로벌 혁신센터 센터장 등이 참석한 가운데 'NI/㈜누비 콤 현물 기증 전달식'이 개최되었다. 이기정 총장은 환영사를 통해 "NI와 ㈜누비콤에서 정말 감사한 선물을 주셨다. 한양대학교 학생들이 이 소프트웨어를 통해 새로운 꿈을 꾸며 더 큰 미래로 향할 수 있는 계기가 될 수 있으리라 생각한다."며 감사의 인사를 전했다. 이에 정구환 NI 한국지사장은 "우선, 이 자리를 만들어 주신 한양대학교 총장님,  Beyond-G 글로벌 혁신센터 김선우 센터장님을 비롯한 학교 관계자 여러분과 ㈜누비콤의 신동만 대표님께 감사의 말씀을 드린다."며 "한양대학교에는 우수한 연구 인력이 많이 있다고 알고 있다. 이 번 기부를 통해 여러 분야를 연구하시는데 NI 소프트웨어가 조금이나마 도움이 되길 진심으로 바란 다."며 화답했다. 한편, NI와 ㈜누비콤은 이번 기부를 통해 한양대학교 Beyond-G 글로벌 혁신센터에 약 5억 원 상당의 소프트웨어를 기부해 주었으며, 이 소프트웨어는 수업 실습 및 연구 개발을 위해 사용될 예정이다.
