[News] Hanyang University’s waLLLnut achieved 3rd Place at Solana Superteam Korea Hackathon

Researchers from Professor Dong Jun Shin’s Cryptography Laboratory at Hanyang University, who founded waLLLnut Inc., achieved 3rd place at the Solana Superteam Korea Hackathon held on September 18, organized by Superteam Korea. The hackathon aimed to discover innovative services and technologies based on the Solana blockchain ecosystem, attracting diverse teams from the Web3 and blockchain sectors to compete. Leveraging the research capabilities and blockchain expertise accumulated in the Cryptography Laboratory, waLLLnut presented a highly polished project that impressed the judges and participants alike. For their achievement, waLLLnut was awarded 1020 USDC as a prize. USDC is a stablecoin tied to the U.S. dollar, providing a secure and stable digital currency. The Beyond-G Global Innovation Center congratulates waLLLnut on their success and looks forward to their continued research and growth in the fields of cryptography and blockchain technology.

[창업기업소식] waLLLnut, 솔라나 슈퍼팀 코리아 해커톤 3위 수상

한양대학교 신동준 교수의 암호연구실 연구진이 창업한 월넛 주식회사(waLLLnut)이 지난 9월 18일, Superteam Korea가 공동으로 주최한 'Solana Superteam Korea Hackathon' 이벤트에 참가하여 3위를 기록하는 성과를 거두었다.

이번 해커톤은 솔라나 블록체인 생테계를 기반으로 한 혁신적인 서비스와 기술을 발굴하기 위해 진행된 개발 경진대회로, Web3 및 블록체인 분야의 다양한 팀들이 참여하여 경쟁을 펼쳤다. 월넛 주식회사(waLLLnut)는 암호연구실에서 축적한 연구 역량과 블록체인 기술을 바탕으로 완성도 높은 프로젝트를 선보였으며,전체 참가팀 중  3위 수상과 함께 1020 USDC를 지급 받았다. USDC는 미국달러(USD)와 1:1로 연동되는 스테이블코인으로, 안정적인 가치를 지닌 디지털 자산이다.
