[News] 'IEEE GLOBECOM 2025' ISAC Demonstration 

Researchers(Adam Dan, Juhyun Moon, Seonghoon Han) from the Beyond-G Global Innovation Center and the WSL Laboratory participated in 'IEEE GLOBECOM 2025',held in Taipei, Taiwan from December 8 to 12, 2025, where they successfully demonstrated an ISAC(Integrated Sensing and Communication)-based demonstration.

At the conference, researchers collaborated with global partner; TMYTEK to present a real-time ISAC-based testbed, which has been recognized as a key technology for next-generation 6G networks, attracting significant attention from international researchers. The demonstration effectively showcased the practical applicability of ISAC technology by implementing a proof-of-concept environment that integrates communication and sensing functions. This demonstration was carried out with Adam Dan as the lead researcher with Juhyun Moon and Seunghoon Han. Adam Dan played a central role in this demonstration by overseeing the overall system design and hardware implementation. Juhyun Moon was responsible for the implementation of the communication code, while Seunghoon Han developed the GUI, further enhancing the completeness of the system. In addition, Hyunwoo Park and Hongseok Jung supported booth operation and technical demonstrations during the conference.

Through this demonstration, the WSL Laboratory shared its outstanding research achievements and technical capabilities at an international conference and expanded opportunities for global collaboration.

Beyond-G 글로벌 혁신센터와 WSL 연구실의 연구진(단아담, 문주현, 한승훈 연구원)이 2025년 12월 8일부터 12일까지 대만 타이베이에서 개최된 ‘IEEE GLOBECOM 2025’에 참가하여 ISAC(Integrated Sensing and Communication) 기반 시연을 성공적으로 선보였다. 이번 학회에서 연구진은 글로벌 파트너인 TMYTEK와 협력하여 실시간 ISAC 테스트베드를 공개했으며, 이는 차세대 6G 네트워크 핵심 기술로 주목받으며 국제 학계의 관심을 끌었다. 시연에서는 통신과 센싱 기능이 통합된 개념증명 환경을 구현하여, 기술의 실용적 적용 가능성과 미래 통신 기술 발전 가능성을 국제 연구자들에게 알리는 계기가 되었다. 

특히 단아담 연구원은 전체 시스템 설계와 하드웨어 구현을 총괄하였고, 문주현 연구원은 통신 코드 구현을, 한승훈 연구원은 GUI 개발을 담당하여 시스템 완성도를 높였다. 또한, 박현우 연구원과 정홍석 연구원은 현장 부스 운영과 기술 시연을 적극적으로 지원하였다. 이번 시연을 통해 WSL 연구실은 국제 학회에서 연구 성과와 기술 역량을 공유하고, 글로벌 협력 기회를 확대하는 계기를 마련했다.
