[News] Special Session by Hanyang University Beyond-G Global Innovation Center at the 2026 KICS Winter Conference

At the 2026 KICS Winter Conference, held from February 4 to 6, 2026 and hosted by the Korean Institute of Communications and Information Sciences (KICS), the Beyond-G Global Innovation Center at Hanyang University organized a special session on February 5 (Thu), 11:10–12:20, at ARA Hall (11C), 2nd Floor, Bliss Hill Stay. The session was titled “Advanced Network AI, Communication, and Security Technologies.”

The session focused featured the following presentations:

• “Decentralized Congestion Control for V2X Networks Using Deep Reinforcement Learning: From Single-Agent to Multi-Agent Systems” - Prof. Han-Shin Jo, Hanyang University)
• “Federated Learning-Based Network Operation Technologies for 6G” - Prof. Joohyung Lee (Gachon University)
• “Navigating 6G in the Dark: An LLM Autopilot for Model-Free Network Management” - Prof. Hoon Lee (UNIST)
• “Distributed Artificial Intelligence: Security Threats and Countermeasures” - Prof. Sangseok Yun (Pukyong National University) 

The presentations addressed key challenges in the 6G era, including decentralized congestion control for V2X networks, privacy-preserving federated learning for network operations, LLM-based autonomous network management, and security issues in distributed AI systems.

The session provided a concise overview of recent advances in 6G, network AI, and security technologies, and fostered academic exchange among researchers in related fields.

[센터소식] 2026 KICS 동계학술대회, 한양대 Beyond-G 글로벌 혁신센터 특별세션 개최

2026년 2월 4일부터 6일까지 개최된 2026 KICS 동계학술대회((사)한국통신학회 주최)에서 한양대학교 Beyond-G 글로벌 혁신센터는 2월 5일(목) 11:10~12:20, 블리스힐스테이 2층 아라홀(11C)에서 “최신 네트워크 AI, 통신, 보안기술”을 주제로 특별세션을 개최하였다.

이번 특별세션은 6G 시대를 대비한 네트워크 인공지능(AI) 기반 운용 기술과 보안 이슈를 중심으로, 차세대 통신 환경에서 요구되는 핵심 기술과 최신 연구 성과를 공유하기 위해 마련되었다.

첫 발표에서 조한신 교수(한양대)는 “Decentralized Congestion Control for V2X Networks Using Deep Reinforcement Learning: From Single-Agent to Multi-Agent Systems” 주제로 딥 강화학습 기반의 V2X 네트워크 분산 혼잡 제어 기법을 소개하며, 단일 에이전트에서 다중 에이전트 시스템으로 확장하는 연구 방향과 성과를 설명하였다. 이어 이주형 교수(가천대)는 "6G를 위한 연합학습기반의 네트워크 운용 기술" 을 주제로 연합학습 기반의 6G 네트워크 운용 기술을 발표하며, 데이터 프라이버시를 보장하는 지능형 네트워크 관리 방안을 제시하였다.

또한 이훈 교수(UNIST)는 "Navigating 6G in the Dark: An LLM Autopilot for Model-Free Network Management" 주제로 대규모 언어모델(LLM)을 활용한 모델 프리 네트워크 관리 자동화 기술을 통해 6G 환경에서의 자율 운용 가능성을 제안하였다. 마지막으로 윤상석 교수(부경대)는 "Distributed Artificial Intelligence: Security Threats and Countermeasures" 주제로 분산 인공지능 환경에서의 보안 위협과 대응 전략을 다루며, AI 기반 네트워크 보안의 중요성을 강조하였다.

이번 특별세션은 6G, 네트워크 AI, 보안 기술 분야의 연구 동향을 종합적으로 조망하고, 관련 분야 연구자 간 학술 교류와 협력 기반을 강화하는 의미 있는 자리로 진행되었다.
