[News] XGMF and Beyond-G Global Innovation Center Sign MOU to Advance 6G Collaboration

 

The XG Mobile Promotion Forum (XGMF), which promotes the adoption of mobile services and the expansion of mobile businesses, and the Beyond-G Global Innovation Center, which promotes the development and deployment of 6G communication technologies in Korea, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to cooperate in advancing next-generation communications.

Beyond-G Global Innovation Center is working to position Korea as a global leader in the development and rollout of 6G technologies, fostering international exchange and collaboration. XGMF, for its part, seeks to strengthen Japan’s leadership in the Beyond 5G/6G era by encouraging the creation of innovative technologies and new use cases that break free from conventional norms, contributing to the growth of the ICT industry.

 

By leveraging their synergies, both parties will analyze the potential for applying Beyond 5G/6G technologies to industrial communications. Activities outlined in the MOU include joint marketing and promotional initiatives, as well as the exchange of information and publications.

XGMF와 Beyond-G Global Innovation Center는 차세대 6G 통신 기술 협력을 위해 MOU를 체결했다.

XGMF는 모바일 서비스 확산과 혁신 기술 발굴을 통해 일본의 Beyond 5G/6G 경쟁력 강화를 추진하고 있으며, Beyond-G Global Innovation Center는 글로벌 협력과 기술 교류를 기반으로 한국의 6G 선도국 도약을 목표로 하고 있다.

 

양 기관은 이번 협약을 통해 Beyond 5G/6G 기술의 산업 통신 적용 가능성을 공동으로 분석하고, 공동 마케팅 및 홍보, 정보 및 간행물 교류 등 다양한 협력을 추진할 예정이다.

 

이번 협력은 한·일 간 차세대 통신 협력 강화와 글로벌 6G 생태계 확대에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
